It can be applied to illustrate career transitions, overcoming obstacles, and personal growth.
  2. Annette Simmons’s Six Kinds of Stories: Simmons’ framework covers stories about identity, purpose, vision, teaching, values in action, and empathizing with the audience. These can be used to craft narratives showcasing professional identity, accomplishments, values, and lessons learned in a career context.
  3. The Story Spine: Derived from improvisational theater, this simple structure involves a sequence: “Once upon a time… And every day… Until one day… And because of that… Until finally… And ever since then…” It can help structure anecdotes about career challenges, achievements, or learning experiences.
  4. The Pixar Storytelling Framework: Pixar’s model includes six key elements: a central character, desire, conflict, journey, resolution, and change.
